We started with a multi level garden made up of rotten decking and concrete. The area was beautiful but wasn’t practical for a dog or a toddler. We removed 8 transit tipper loads of concrete alone plus a couple of loads of soil to bring it down to one level. All aggregates were from CWM off of Knowle lane in fair oak. We led a beautiful grey sandstone patio and pointed in using Pavetuf (from Greener Landscapes opposite Marwell zoo) this also had a matching path which runs the length of the garden. The new turf was from Solent Turf. New wooden sleepers from Wickes and were used to create a raised bed where the neighbours level was higher than ours. This will become a beautiful rose bed and will eventually be transformed to house a larger pond. We will be putting up a summer house on the dirt area which we will convert for our 2 year old to play in and to store her outside toys. The grass directly outside will be fenced off with a little white picket fence for her very own private garden. We carried out all the work ourselves (D Hodgson Tree and Landscape Services)
